Rita Williams is a self-taught, national award–winning artist. She has worked in commercial illustration for businesses in upstate New York, including Cornell University's anatomy department. Most recently, her work was selected for Polo Players' Edition magazine's twenty-first Sporting Art issue. She has created many private commissions, portraying the favorite family pet to the prize-winning show horse. Rita works primarily in Prismacolor pencil and graphite, but paints in watercolor and oil as well.
